Bowling!

Thursday we joined friends for a morning of bowling. It was the first time my kiddos had bowled, and it was a lot of fun (mainly because of the gutter guards). Libby had a great time, and did a great job. Xander didn't really love it. I realized after a couple times helping him roll the 7 pound ball toward the pins, that he didn't appreciate the sport. Every time we sent his ball upstream, he expressed his concern. He wanted to play with the ball, not send it rolling away. Libby ended up bowling both of their games, and Xander entertained himself by socializing with friends, and playing with the balls that came back up onto the rack after they'd been bowled away. What's that machine called? I dunno. Anyway, Libby caught some air in this picture, jumping and cheering for her great shot. And check out her shoes! I've never been to a bowling ally with better bowling shoes. They were like new and super cute.
