We got our new camera the day before these pics were taken, and Libby started giving us photo ops right away. Here, she's demonstrating her newly discovered motherly instincts. She is such a nurturer, and loves to care for her babies (as well as her parents). She totes baby Austin around the house and around the city, exclaiming "uh oh! sock! hat!" if one of them happens to fall off. Most recently, we've discovered a pattern; when Libby needs a diaper change, she'll tell us, "peee-YOO. baby diaper." of course, it's the baby who is stinky!
at this particular meal, she was so concerned with baby eating and burping and resting that she couldn't have eaten 2 bites of her own food. isn't that just the way it is, moms?!
