Well we don't yet have any pictures because Libby's too easily distracted by the camera, and when you're working on balance it's not good to be distracted. But the big news is Libby is a walker! Yesterday she took her first real walk all by herself - 5 steps across the room to get from furniture to mama, without holding anyone's finger, and without running her hand along the couch or chair or anything! She later took 4 more, unaided. She's been standing and moving around the furniture since 7 months, and for the past couple weeks she's taken as many as two steps paired with a lunge that gets her from one piece of furniture to another, but hasn't attempted to walk into the great wide-open --- until now! She walked again for daddy today and as soon as we can grab the camera and take a picture without causing her to wobble, we'll capture the moment. Those of you who know her know that Libby doesn't miss a thing. So if daddy walks across the room, Libby's eyes follow, and if Libby's eyes follow daddy she can't walk to mama but ends up on her little bottom. She's growing up!
