hi friends and family! this is the story of me and the first time I ate solid foods. It was Monday, September 5 - my 6 month birthday, and daddy suggested that today be the day. So, he and mama stuck me in this snazzy high chair, whipped up some rice cereal, and I ate. Well, I tried to eat anyway. Mainly I grabbed at the cup and the spoon, and I chomped the spoon, and I spit the cereal as I learned to swallow it. But I got better as my meal progressed, and each time I ate thereafter. By the end of the week I pretty much had it down and mom and dad were discussing moving on to oatmeal. Enjoy the pictures - I'm looking as cute as ever!
