hi folks. it's been a busy busy busy past few weeks and my parents finally got the necessities unpacked so they could upload and blog some photos. mama's in a hurry because she needs to go help daddy unpack in the basement, so the following pictures are in reverse chronological order. you might want to scroll to the bottom and read up.

this photo is from tonight. i had stuffed shells and made such a mess that mama said, "oh if ben laugelli could see you now." then she decided, ben laugelli should get to see you now, and took this picture. i'm not happy because i'm all done and want to get out of my seat.

i've been so busy and am adjusting pretty well to our new life in nebraska. i like our house, and love playing outside, and even looking out the windows at the birds and squirrels and dogs and bunnies i see daily. i love when the bunnies, "hop, hop, hop!" i'm talking a lot more, and am liable to repeat any one word from something mama and daddy just said. i also understand just about everything they say, which is sometimes shocking and sometimes impressive and sometimes scary.

anyway, i'm growing up and doing well and as sweet as ever. since the move i've become even more affectionate and love to kiss my parents, love to push their heads together to make them kiss, and love to give them hugs and pat them on the back with both my little hands. it's the sweetest.

well, enjoy some photos of the last couple weeks. more will be coming.. bear with us!

we love and miss you cvillians!

here we are with the breges. we enjoyed dinner with them, and many of our loved ones, after graduation. i'm sure i'd be smiling here at the opportunity to be in such a nice photo, but i recently took a tumble and bumped my head on the patio. see the red spot on my right? fear not - i healed up completely within 3 days.

the girls purse their lips - once again josie and libby don't want to sit for a photograph. maybe modeling isn't in their blood.

once we were all packed up and the truck was on the road we also headed out of cville. we met our family in pound, virginia. here's the view from the lovely travelers motel, where we stayed. we wouldn't recommend it.

mr. lee and the boys start loading the last boxes into the cab.
wasn't that nice of mr. lee?

daddy and i have fake smiles on our faces because the truck is sealed up tight and we still have lots of things sitting in the parking lot.... there wasn't enough room! (don't worry, we were sharing the truck with another family -- we don't have THAT much stuff)

sometimes, on moving day, you have to improvise
and eat on the kitchen counter.
