Mama has 1 split second to take this cute picture before the leaf ends up in Libby's mouth.

That's right - I drink milk out of a cup!

 

daddy puts a chair in the living room to serve as a barrier - libby is supposed to find it to be "in her way". Instead, she figures out that really, she can just go under it. So using the chair to discourage libby from pulling books off the shelves or blinds off the valance simply won't work any longer!

 

mama says, "there's no way she's going to get through there. her little legs are going to get stuck!" but, libby doesn't think so.

 

and she's on to something else...

 

Sunday evening we grabbed our little butterfly and headed to the All Saints Fair at church. Libby looks anxious to get inside, doesn't she?

What's up Daddy?

 

Daddy, Mama with Libby, Ben with Josie, Jaime, Abby with Wilson, and Mary. At the All Saint's Fair at Trinity.

We gathered the NGP babies in costume. Lou's little Sofie the flower (5 months), Jenn's little Bryson the pumpkin (2 months) and our little Libby the butterfly (8 months...in a week). Libby likes Bryson and his costume. Bryson has no idea.

 

Libby thinks Bryson should wake up and play... daddy thinks not.

 

Somebody's antennae get a little bent out of shape from all the action.

 

Monday we went to the Rotunda at UVA and celebrated Halloween with hundreds and hundreds of other families on "the lawn." When we arrived, daddy snapped a picture to give a glimpse into how many people had gathered for trick-or-treating on Jefferson's old stomping grounds.
